As part of my ongoing design development, I created a personal logo that brings together meaning, identity, and minimalist style. The design combines the initials D, E, and S, representing my full name, Darrien Effe Schleifer into the shape of a shield, with a clever twist. When flipped, it resembles a sword. The E is angled at the top to subtly form a crown, adding a sense of purpose and leadership. I chose a clean, elegant color palette of dark grey, blue, and light greyish white to give the logo a professional but timeless feel. The concept was inspired by the Greek origin of my name, Darrien, and my admiration for Spartan culture, which influenced the use of the shield and sword as symbols of strength, discipline, and legacy. This project was a personal exploration of how design can reflect identity. I challenged myself to balance visual simplicity with layered meaning, while maintaining versatility for potential use in branding, merch, or digital platforms. Through this process, I deepened my skills in concept development, symbolism, and minimalist design, and it gave me a chance to express who I am through form and function.
